“Clean & Safe Establishment” seal
for tourism companies

Turismo de Portugall recognizes companies in the tourism sector that comply with the recommendations of the Directorate-General for Health to avoid contamination of spaces with SARS-CoV-2 (new coronavirus).
The Tourist Enterprises, the Tourist Entertainment companies and Travel and Tourism Agencies that wish to obtain the seal “Clean & Safe Establishment” must comply with the set of provisions contained in the “Declaration of Commitment” that is available on the Turismo de Portugal’s digital platforms. Relating to the registration of tourist companies: National Register of Tourist Companies (RNET), National Register of Tourist Entertainment (RNAT) or National Register of Travel and Tourism Agencies (RNAVT).
Only after submitting the Declaration of Commitment on the aforementioned platforms by the companies, are they able to use the Seal in question, either in their physical facilities or in the channels and platforms for dissemination and sale.
The Seal assigned to each company will be associated with its RNET, RNAAT or RNAVT Registration Number..
In the case of Local Accommodation, Restaurants and Beverages, Motorhome Service Areas (ASAs) and Rent-a-car, companies and individual entrepreneurs wishing to obtain the “Clean & Safe Establishment” seal should access:
- Local Accommodation – Entrepreneur Desk
- Restaurants and Beverages – Entrepreneur Desk
- Motorhome Service Areas – Federation of Camping and Mountaineering of Portugal
- Rent-a-car – Association of Driverless Car Rental Industries (ARAC)
This measure, promoted by Turismo de Portugal and involving the Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA), the General Directorate of Economic Activities (DGAE), the Mobility and Transport Institute (IMT), the Mobility and Transport Authorit (AMT) and in articulation with the Confederation of Tourism of Portugal (CTP) and the Sector Associations, seeks to raise awareness of enterprises for the minimum procedures to be adopted and encourage the recovery of the tourism sector at a national and international level, reinforcing everyone’s confidence in the destination Portugal and its tourist resources.
